Babar B. Khan - BBK
Manager CEO Secretariat
Mr
Babar Khan got his Master in Business Administration
(MBA) in Marketing & Management from Netherlands
International School of Management,
Maastricht
in 1991 and Bachelor in Business
Administration (BBA)
from Wright State University, Ohio,
USA. He holds a Bachelor in Commerce (B.Com) Degree
from
University of
Karachi. Babar has attended several courses relating
to business, marketing and finance. He attended
courses at IBA Institute of Business Administration
and American Cultural Center. He is involved with
the Foundation as Sponsor Member and contributes
time as Volunteer by assisting in coordinating
day-to-day operations. He has experience in social
sector, medical and healthcare industry. During his
career for 8 years, he professionally operated a
full service hospital with P&L responsibility. He
also has experience as operation manager with a
market research firm "Market Research of Pakistan"
as ROC regional operation chief looking after two
major regions of Pakistan Sind and
Punjab covering a demographic population of over 100 million
people. During his tenure, he built business
relationship and serviced many well-known local and
multinational clients including Shell Pakistan,
Merck Sharp and Dohme (MSD), Engro Chemicals and
Faisal Bank. Mr. Khan had opportunity to participate
in specialized consumer and beauty products and
assisted well-known cosmetic company in importing
and manufacturing cosmetics world-renowned brands
Revlon, Charlie, Cussons, and Black & Gold. He was
responsible for product planning, marketing and
distribution channel. During his educational tenure
in
USA, he traveled widely to 42 states by road. Mr.
Khan grew up in UK and Saudi Arabia from where he
obtained his primary education. He also attended
Christain Convent School in Pakistan. He has
traveled to many countries including; France,
Germany, Holland, Switzerland, Cyprus, Turkey,
Jordan, Oman, Bahrain and United Arab Emirates. He
is married and has two children a daughter and a
son. He also lectures in marketing and management at
Business Schools to MBA classes.

Khurrum Shroff - KS
Marketing Manager

Graduated with Bachelor in Business Administration
(BBA) in marketing from
the University
of Indianapolis, Indiana USA,
Master in Business Administration (MBA)
from the John Vianney Institute, Germany. Mr.
Khurrum has attended several courses at
the University
of Pennsylvania (UPENN),
Georgia
state University (GSU),
Dalton
College, IBA and
PIM Institute. He has had an extensive career in
human resources, technology and marketing. Mr. Khurrum has been involved with eMag
solutions, an IT company based out of
Atlanta,
Georgia, with Prudential Avery & Associates as an
International Relocation Director.
He has also worked at the United Nations. He has
consulted with the Pakistan Government, Kuwait
Government and the Dubai Education Ministry on
business issues. He is a dynamic
individual with about a decade of marketing,
international relations, human resources and
technology experience. KB is a certified Real Estate
Consultant by the State of
Indiana.
He is a member of the Wharton Finance Club, All
Alumni Association, U of I Alumni Association,
Pakistan Student Association, Indian Cultural
Exchange International Relocation club, Defence
Authority Club and the Karachi Golf Club. He has
been an independent consultant since 1999. He
joined SASI Foundation in the year 2002 as a Sponsor
member to assist in Social Entrepreneurship projects
and coordinate the Foundation's activities.

Mohammed Mutahir Khan - MK
Manager Coordination
Mr. Mutahir A. Khan has a Bachelor in Arts (BA) degree from the
University of Karachi He has been associated for
more than 20 years, with the Sasi Group the parent
Company and the main sponsors of the foundation. A
self-made person with pleasing personality that
makes friends quickly. He also has community welfare
and social service background. He is one of key
Sponsor members of the foundation from the time the
foundation idea was conceived and fully supports it
activities. As part of his social contribution, he
volunteers his time and assists The Chief Trustees
and the board in organizing and managing the
foundations Secretariat. Mr Khan in his career
attended several courses to develop his professional
and management skills. He has experience in
marketing, sales promotion, public relations, office
management, general administration. His practical
approach is to find solutions and not be part of the
problem. His industry background has been in
retailing, distribution, publishing and real estate.
He is married and has two children a son and a
daughter.

Abdul
Latif Lakhani - LL
Manager Administration
Mr. Latif has 25 years of practical hands on
experience as troubleshooter and all rounder with
the parent Sasi Group the main sponsors of the
foundation. A community welfare participants,
socially committed personality and being one of the
sponsors member he contributes his time, experience
and resources to the development of the foundation
with real social zeal. During his career, he has
managed administrative affairs both internal and
external. He is responsible for overall support
service to the group. His ability and approach is
that of a practical solution hunter rather than
bogged down in paper formalities. He has also
traveled to UK
for as part of trouble shooting team to turnaround a
hospitality project in 1981 in which he successfully
participated. He is responsible for administrative
affairs, maintaining liaison, and resourcing and
sourcing the requirements for the company.
He is married and has two children both sons.
Syed Jamaluddin Hashmi - SJH
Manager Accounts
Accounts and Cash Management Affairs
Mr.
Hashmi obtained his Bachelor in Commerce (B.Com)
from Bangladesh the than East Pakistan. He joined
the parent company Sasi Group in 1976. He is one of
the oldest members in the team and has climbed to be
the Head of Accounts for the group. He has completed
silver jubilee with the group. He is one of the most
trusted personalities within the group with
responsibility to handle banking and cash
transactions and activities. He was key member at
the time of the formation of the foundation and
major witness when the deed of trust came into
formation and registered. He is one of the Senior
Sponsor Members of the foundation. He volunteers his
time to assist in the accounts and financial matters
for the foundation to develop strong roots before it
expands its activities on fast pace. He is
grandfather and has 6 sons, 2 daughters and 2
grandchildren. A great simple and
humble personality who stills believes in the old
school of thoughts something he always says that old
habits die hard.

Volunteer Team
We have
volunteers from different fields and walk of life
assisting us in our mission and objectives. We
welcome local and international volunteers to
contact us with
their resume and background. Our foundation will
offer to match their skills with the local needs and
try to accommodate them. All selected volunteers are
provided boarding, lodging and local transport
during their stay in Pakistan mostly in Karachi. The
volunteers will need to arrange their own airfare
both ways. We expect volunteers to have an health
insurance cover. In the event of non availability,
please inform us in advance so that arrangements can be
discussed.
