PRIME MOVER FOR SOCIAL ENTREPRENEURSHIP IN SAARC REGION

The Mission

The Retailing Group

The retailing group concentrates on Brand Creation and through TICOP (trends, ideas, concepts, opportunities and patterns) identifies specialized niche retailing opportunities that have a concept for replication in local and international market through brand expansion.

Within this group, we have conceived several brands and concepts from home based retail franchising to co-branded space in large stores. All these brands have a tie-up to pay a royalty and fees to the Sasi Foundation as these were originated and incubated by 3rd party who endowed these to the Foundation. We are at present doing private test market for dzires concept to sale handicrafts products. One of our retail concepts is Indus Valley social retailing network through Trunk Shows. Many products that have been identified under this brand includes hand made rugs, and various household items.

Our penetration strategy in this group is to negotiate friendly buy-into and takeover loss making or marginal stores from existing chain in partnership with the management of these stores. We will valuefacture the whole business cycle by giving the management ownership participation, bring in change at macro and micro level in the business process, develop plans for local and global replication, inject social cause, add synergic products, services and image to the format and provide value to customers by creating marketing that will make employees and customers perpetual lifetime partners.

We welcome inquiries from investment bankers and business consultants in retailing field to assist us in this area. We also welcome alternative offers in confidence. We would consider retaining an M & A firm or professionals group with retail industry background. The firm needs to have ability to understand the operation gap between matured and embryonic ownership. Also, knowledge to arbitrage the gap through application of TICOP. Please contact to discuss your experience and our global aspirations and how you can assist in this ventures.
